Edge.80
So, while I was in Portland, I got to catch up with Sam, one of the founders of Lensbaby. We’ve been passing friends on Facebook for a few years now and I didn’t want to pass up the opportunity to meet the founder of a company I truly admire. Sam was gracious enough to giveContinue reading “Edge.80”

Ray Tracing
i see a lot of images like this. shadow play and the figure, but to me they kinda all lack a bit of emotional grounding. i’m glad i managed to evoke some of that out of the model here. it is, after all, for your enjoyment. enjoy, scott model: Ginger
First 4×5 Enlargements

last weekend while Sara Ferron was here, she asked me to show her how i make some of my darkroom prints. so, i brought down a couple of the 4×5 negatives that i’d recently shot with her and we just did a couple of quick contact prints. i wasn’t sure what we’d get since theContinue reading “Cyanotypes – Emotional Blue”
Forget Me Not
Taking a little time to shoot with Sara Ferron again this weekend. She came down to go with me to the Benefit for Dan and then we shot a bit the next day. I wanted to make this shot using the light coming in from the front door, but honestly it’s just totally exposed toContinue reading “Forget Me Not”
Benefit for Dan
I recently found out that my friend Dan was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Dan is the husband of Nori. And Nori is the first nude model that I ever shot and now a good, close friend. Dan is in a desperate fight to beat this disease and with no health care, this is moreContinue reading “Benefit for Dan”
