Salt Prints on Bamboo Paper

my pal Vernon Trent recommended using Hahnemühle’s Bamboo inkjet paper for making salt prints. he said that he had a fair amount of success with it, so i decided to give it a try and got some interesting results.
on this particular print, i used some really fine sand paper to remove the inkjet coating. i had a rather difficult time getting a good, even coating, but some of the results turned out to be kinda interesting in their anomalies. tonally, however, they’re pretty nice.

i decided to do a little bit of printing in the darkroom on christmas eve this year. my pal Vernon Trent recommended using Hahnemühle’s Bamboo inkjet paper for making salt prints. he said that he had a fair amount of success with it, so i decided to give it a try and got some interesting results.
