For the past several months i’ve been working with some friends to create a wonderful book that celebrates the life of Craig Smith and his vision to celebrate, “the beauty of the female body and the aesthetic appreciation of body art.” Craig was a local gallery owner and advocate of the alternative arts scene in Allentown, PA. Craig gave me one of the first opportunities to show my figurative artwork without reservations or fear. I’m proud to be a part of this to help celebrate his spirit and dedication to the not-so-traditional arts. Sadly, Craig did not have the time in this world to follow through with his idea. So, we have put together this book and show in his memory.
Many of the women that I photographed for the book are friends and talented models. The other two photographers in the book Lorna Doone and George Schmauch are among my closest friends. This has, in many ways, been a labor of love for all of us. Pre-orders for the book are available now and you can order your copy now at this web site.
