FIGURE STUDIES ON GLASS PLATES
Scott Nichol shows 5 monochrome figure studies at the LaDuca Gallery in Easton, PA starting on November 5, 2011. Artists’ reception will be at 7:00 on November 13. The exhibition is part of the InVision photography festival being presented by ArtsQuest.org and the exhibit will also include the works of photographers Adam Atkinson, Johanna Andresen, and Gene Palmiter.
Always one to push the boundaries of photographic presentation, Scott brings a new innovative approach to digital printmaking. The five monochrome figure studies being shown at the LaDuca gallery in Easton, PA are printed directly onto glass plates. These prints have a luminosity and depth not normally seen in digital printing.
