having one really wonderful art model come to visit for a few days is great, but two is kinda double the fun! i had the chance to work and collaborate with stephanie anne and brooke labrie for a day yesterday and then a little bit today. and i’ve had this old, expired polaroid chocolate film sitting in the fridge. it has a nice, well, chocolate tone to it and i mentioned that we should break it out and see what we could do. once i loaded it up, connected a trigger for the studio strobes to the camera and set up a single soft box. the first shots were actually really nice. then i had this idea to do double-exposures. wasn’t sure what we’d get here, but the idea was that each model would choose a pose, then the other model could play off of it and we’d make another exposure. the results were, in a word, much better that i could have expected.
